I am a multidisciplinary practitioner (Performer/Writer, Facilitator and Access Support Assistant ) . My personal practice aims to develop and partake in projects that speak true to my experiences as a queer working class care-experienced Black person. Away from my creative practice I would describe myself as the straight talking joker who is actually a softie at heart (don't tell my mates I said that). I am someone who cares deeply about humans and is attempting to find new ways to be with and support my communities. In recent years I have found myself making a conscious effort to nurture and nourish the communities I am a part of and care for, following the idea of “it takes a village”. As a person who often meets new people, I am drawn to those with shared values, interests and passions but will openly welcome differing opinions. This is in hopes of learning new perspectives or histories and broadening my knowledge of the world around me.
